Cost of the PyTables Pro 2.x licenses for the first year

Note *: Although the Personal license does not includes direct support by itself, the PyTables users' mailing list can always be used as a way to get advices or generic support (either from PyTables developers or from other users).

Renewal fees for PyTables Pro 2.x licenses (yearly)

Important note: Failing to renew your license will remove you the right to access to new versions of PyTables Pro 2.x series (both for bug fixes and new features). However, you will keep the right to use your already downloaded versions forever.

Support fees (yearly)

The prices for the Basic and Premium support are only available when acquiring a PyTables Pro license for the first time or during license renewals. For contracting support separately from licenses see the ProfessionalServices page.

Gives the right to use it with no limits inside a corporation or institution. Read the full site license for more details.

Development

Gives the right to an individual or corporation to include and commercialize PyTables Pro inside other software they have made. Read the complete development license for more details.

Evaluation

Offers the possibility to evaluate PyTables Pro, but it is not meant for production usage. Read the complete evaluation license for more details. You can download this version in the download section.

Available platforms

Windows

An all-in-one, auto-installable binary package is provided.

Linux, MacOSX and other UNICES

Only a tarball is provided; users should compile and install the package by themselves.

You can contract additional support, development or consulting services. See the ProfessionalServices page for more info.

Payment procedures

You can pay by PayPal or by bank transfer. Payment through credit cards is not accepted currently. If you want to buy a license, please send a note to faltet@pytables.com, and I will send you further directives on how to complete the acquisition.

Final notes

Important for European Union (EU) based customers: listed prices do not include VAT. EU imposes a VAT for non-business purchase. To avoid paying the VAT, please send your company name and provide a valid VAT ID for it. This will then be regarded as a business purchase and no VAT will be charged.
